Evermore By: Alyson Noel

Evermore By: Alyson Noel is a wonderful book that I believe would be a lovely addition to any library.

Sixteen year old Ever is the only survivor of a car crash that killed her family. She had the perfect life and was loving it.  But in that day she had lost everything.

After that fateful accident Ever discovers that she can see auras, hear peoples thoughts, see peoples entire life story with just a touch, as well as see dead people. She is an orphan living with the guilt that her the accident that claimed her family was her fault.

Her world is in chaos and she takes extra precautions agains her gifts (which she believes are punishments) and because of this she is branded a freak at her new school. Then she meets Damen, a mysterious strqnger who she feels oddly connected to. After that a whole new world emerges, and Ever needs to make a few decisions.

This is a very good story, It is one that you will have to read a second or third time to really understand the full meaning of everything, and to get you bearings. It is slightly confusing in parts but does come together at down the line. Definatly a book that most fans of Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Marr should add to their collections. Definately engaging and will catch your attention the minute you open to the first page! I do have to say that it does have some sililarities to Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight, but please do not stop reading! You will have a wonderful suprise!

I recieved an early reviewer copy. This book should be out in February 2009 I definately recommend that you add it to your library.
